Candy Gil

Candy Gil is one of Davidson Realty’s most dedicated agents. As a result of her hard work, Candy is a frequent recipient of Davidson accolades including top sales, top lister and top producer.  

She loves working with buyers and sellers of all kinds and finds first-time home buyers and downsizing retirees to be especially enjoyable. For Candy, marketing the benefits of living in Northeast Florida is easy thanks to our great weather, plenty of things to do and affordable cost of living. 

Ensuring the best possible outcome for her customers is Candy’s #1 priority. She utilizes clear, ongoing communication to cultivate great relationships with customers as well as business partners and Davidson teammates.  

Candy originates from Oriente, Cuba, a small town on the east side of the island nation. She came to the U.S. as a child, grew up in Miami and married Ed Gil, who is also part of the Davidson Companies. The Gils lived in Atlanta before settling in Jacksonville in 1982. Candy worked as a Spanish teacher and later a Spanish/English interpreter. 

In 2013, Candy followed her lifelong passion for helping people and earned her real estate license. She joined the team at Davidson Realty that same year. 

In her free time, Candy enjoys playing golf, cooking, walking and playing Mahjong with friends. Candy and Ed also enjoy spending time with their family. Their daughter and son-in-law gave them their first grandson, and their son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first baby in August 2019. The Gils live in Ponte Vedra Beach. 

She sponsors a yearly donation drive for Foster Closet and is a supporter of children’s cardiovascular charity Patrons of the Hearts as well as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
