Ethel came to Jacksonville in the late 1980’s as a new hire in the CSX Tax Department. Before coming to Jacksonville, she was with the Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation and was personally acquainted with the Colonel. Having a Kentucky real estate license and real estate experience was helpful to her in challenging valuations at government assessment and taxing commissions for the company properties nationwide.

Using her real estate and tax accounting skills, she did accounting work in the real estate field here in Florida before deciding it was time for her to work in the residential real estate field here.

Working with sellers and buyers is a dream come true for her. She has been busily taking classes to become a Certified Negotiations Expert and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist because she longs to help the older generation. Currently she is pursuing the GRI designation and will become a certified Military Relocation Professional later this month.

She and her husband are the proud parents of Golden Doodles, Daisy and Dude and a little Cornish Rex cat named Bumper. If you ask her, she will likely show off her pictures of them just as proudly as she shows off pictures of her grandchildren.

Getting her day started out well with 30 minutes or more on the treadmill and devotional time keep her fit and well balanced each day. She says that is what helps her stay young too!
