Tonya was born in Gainesville, Florida, home of the Florida Gators. She was raised in Mayo, Florida, which is located between Gainesville and the capital of Tallahassee. She graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Lake City Community College and the University of North Florida.

Having been a part of a large family, Tonya always had strong family values and integrity driven work ethics. She has three children, two of which are in the St. Johns County school system. Tonya relocated to St. Augustine in 1990 to further her career with the United States Postal Service for 19 years. She worked in all aspects of the USPS from Carrier to Financial positions including management.

Her love for people was the driving force for her to make a career change and become a Realtor. She enjoys listening to people – where they’re from, their reasons for making changes in their lives, etc. Her caring personality enables her to help you with those life changing decisions.
