Mirtha Barzaga

Mirtha was born in Cuba and migrated to the U.S. at the age of eight. She grew up in NJ, where she got married and raised her children. She ran a Construction Company with her husband from 1976 to 1988. Mirtha then opened and ran an event company for 10 years. She later moved to south FL to be closer to her children.

In south FL, she worked in sales and marketing for one of the largest importers of fresh cut flowers and traveled all over the U.S. She then made another move to be closer to her grandchildren in St. Augustine, where she got her real estate license. Mirtha has been active in the Rotary Club and Lions Club, in which she is a past president. She loves charity work and draws energy from helping others. Mirtha says that is why real estate is so fulfilling because she has the opportunity to meet and help so many people
