Doug Duggan

Doug brings an unusually varied background to the real estate business. He began with a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech, followed by 16 years in the defense industry as an engineer, computer programmer and scientific programming department manager. As a side interest, he earned a degree in theology and has taught the Bible in classes in churches, homes, offices and prisons for years.

The next 21 years were spent in the automotive equipment and supply distribution business, first as a salesman and eventually as owner/manager of a wholesale distribution warehouse. After the business was bought by a larger competitor, Doug turned his hobby of weightlifting into a new career as a nationally certified personal trainer, fitness instructor and nutrition consultant, owning and operating his own gym.

Originally licensed in 1963, Doug spent many years buying and selling real estate for his own account, friends and family members. After moving to World Golf Village, he joined Davidson Realty in 2004, as a full-time Realtor. His production has been in the top 25% of the company's agents each year. His wide variety of experience usually enables him to converse with customers on some subject that is of interest to them. His primary goal is to meet your real estate needs fully, whatever that may involve.
